What is 'source. cook. eat.'?
'Source. Cook. Eat.' combines my three passions to bring you an exciting supper club with a deeper meaning. I invite you into my home for an evening filled with seasonal, fresh food, sourced responsibly from my most trusted growers and producers across the globe. Aside from an insight into the world of food production, I want to cook delicious food which puts a smile on your face; leaves you with a full belly, and a (metaphorical) hunger to greater understand how food ends up on on our plates. Fruit and vegetables are nature's edible delights. Plucked at the right time, there is little sweeter, juicier, or more delicious on our planet - no additives, no processing; just wonderful flavour and vibrant colours. I have spent most of my career as a fresh produce buyer searching for, and building relationships with growers and producers from around the world. Together with them, I source the tastiest varieties of fruit and vegetables, grown with love, care, and attention. Come and join me for a seasonal feast, served in a setting different to your usual meal out in Dubai! |
who am i? |
I'm a food buyer, with a burning passion for all things food and all things football. I grew up in the UK with a wonderful cook for a mother and a wonderful eater for a father, we always ate as a family and my brother and I often helped in the kitchen. As I got older, I realised food had grown into something more than just enjoyment, it had become obsession. I started cooking at university and soon learned that I loved doing it for others. Sourcing has taught me how important it is to understand the journey food makes to our shelves. I cook with this in mind, focusing on provenance in my menus.

When it comes to food, nearly everything inspires me, but my earliest memory of food is through Dr. Seuss; not a well known chef or restaurateur! He wrote 'Green Eggs and Ham' which tells the story of 'Sam-I-am' who pursues his friend with a plate of ugly looking green food, urging him to try it. Have a read of this surreal tale to understand more about my food philosophy!
